Alexandra Corning, PhD, HSPP is a licensed psychologist with over 25 years of clinical experience.  For the last two decades, she has worked locally with clients and as a professor at Notre Dame, training the next generations of doctoral students for work as clinical psychologists.  Dr. Corning also holds a faculty appointment in the Department of Psychiatry at Indiana University’s Medical School, where she trains first-year medical students in the foundations of clinical practice.

Dr. Corning will get to know you individually to understand the particular nature of your concerns.  The first-line treatments she uses combine the latest scientific research on diagnosis and treatment with your particular symptoms, individual style, and goals.  Dr. Corning has published over 25 peer-reviewed articles in psychological journals and is on the editorial boards of three academic journals.  She is a fellow of the Midwestern Psychological Association and a member of several other professional organizations, including the National Register of Health Service Psychologists, the Association for Psychological Science, the American Psychological Association, and the Academy for Eating Disorders.
